Witches always land on their broomsticks! Though The Secret Circle was cancelled (sob!), the cast is landing new gigs left and right. First Chris Zylka (Jake Armstrong) was cast on American Horror Story, then Jessica Parker Kennedy (Melissa Glaser) jumped over to 90210, then Phoebe Tonkin (Faye Chamberlain) moved to Vampire Diaries, and now Shelley Hennig (Diana Meade) has a new show.

Guess who’s having the best week ever? Phoebe Tonkin (Faye Chamberlain)! If we can’t have Secret Circle back, at least we have the wicked witch on Vampire Diaries now. That’s right. E! Online reports the Australian actress will join the cast in Season 4. Phoebe will play Hayley. Not that we’re Nostradameus or anything, but we actually called this casting when we read that the 19-year-old character is “wildly sexy” and has a connection to Tyler (Michael Trevino).
